Meet The Team

Alice Hawkins

Alice has been part of FHODS since childhood, performing on stage from the age of eight and later producing and directing a wide range of productions at the Tower Theatre.

With extensive experience in acting and a newly completed singing-teaching qualification, Alice is delighted to be offering high quality training in performance and vocal skills.

Sophie Burgess-Adams

Sophie has trained and performed in dance since the age of four, building a strong and versatile foundation across a wide range of styles and performance disciplines. Driven by a passion for creativity and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of performers, she has choreographed more than fifteen productions at the Tower Theatre. Her work includes The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, multiple pantomimes, as well as numerous dance workshops and showcase performances.

Michelle Hartley

Michelle is delighted to be joining the team as our Drama Teacher, bringing with her a wealth of experience, including successfully revitalising and leading the FHODS Youth section over the last five years.

With a BTec and an HND in Acting and Performing Arts and a rich background in performing and directing at The Tower Theatre, she is excited to share her skills, creativity and passion with her students.

Steve Hawkins

Steve is our vocal coach for the workshops. With years of professional vocal experience on the cabaret and big band circuit, Steve has vast experience in musical theatre and is thrilled to be part of the Garrison Performers Academy team .

George Bell

George has recently completed an intensive two‐year Performing Arts course at Canterbury Academy Sixth Form. With several Tower Theatre productions already under his belt George is excited to share his growing experience with our students.

His enthusiasm and commitment to the arts make him a wonderful addition to our Saturday sessions and holiday workshops.

Jack Willcox

Jack has been involved with the FHODS Youth Section for several years, appearing in a variety of Tower Theatre productions along the way. Having previously enjoyed taking part in our holiday workshops, Jack is now excited to step into a team role, bringing his enthusiasm and experience to the students in our workshops.

Lucy Clements

Lucy joins the team with extensive administrative expertise and a strong appreciation for the performing arts. Having previously performed in different medias through her life she understands the confidence, creativity and sense of belonging the theatre can inspire.

She is dedicated to supporting the academy’s inclusive values and helping to create an environment where every child feels encouraged, supported and able to thrive.
